Has anyone added the reverse lights that go around the recevier hitch to their truck (like in the link below)?

Do they make a difference or is it minor and not worth the money?

With my luck, I would end up striking a lamp with the trailer.

I have seen many trucks that trailer a bit put driving/fog lights under the rear bumper for simple lighting such as that, backing, connection lighting at night etc.

Yeah, it is a little more 'redneck' and not as pretty but it is the same function.
