E-Fans VS Headers

I'm a bit lost I don't know what to do first E-Fans or Exhuast headers. The fans are cheaper, ar $350 the headers are around $450-$600, I got this off of Troyer. What headers are the best I'm looking at Gibson and JBA, these are the only two I have found for the 4.2L V-6. What is the better gain for power, MPG, etc. Do I need the headers to be ceramic coated, or can I go cheap and get the chrome plated. I just need some help on what to get first, I don't have the money to do it all now.
thanks
Bill

E-Fans all the way!

1 Improved gas mileage by 2 mpg.
2 A/c Runs better
3 Power increase of 15-20 hp
4 Makes engine sound quieter
5 cheaper
6 Increase engine life
7 Engine heats up quicker in winter time

headers
1 look cool
2 sound cool
3 small power increase/loss of low end torque but more torque in middle rpm range

E-fans are nice I got mine from www.Jusnesmodified.com and if you are going to get any kind of header get long tubes dont waste your money on shorties.

Which ones did you get for your truck? I have been looking into getting them just not sure which ones would be needed, and are they pretty easy to install?

I talk to some at Troyer today and they said the best bang for the buck would be a custom tune. I think I'm goning to go this route, he's going to send me the paper work. How is Troyer for custom tuines.

What the power gains are made form custom tuning, as compared to E-fans or other thing. Toryer said that the tuning is the best way to go. Is this because I have a V-6? I thinking Troyer knows what they are talking about.

Tuning will give you the most power and TQ hands down over any other mod. The fans were just a piece of the puzzle. got a little more MPG and super cold AC. If I could call one person to ask about F150 performance it would be Mike Troyer

Can I make a setting for better mpg, for example a city driving mod?
