F-fans and A/C control Options

Hello, I have installed the Flex-a-lite fan kit, and it all works fine. I have a question about the "proper" way to wire into the A/C control lines. I've done research on this site and other, and there is a bit of confusion on my part.

I've located all the necessary wires to tap into, just not sure which is the correct one.....

If I want the Fans running when the function swithch is turned to A/C, then I want the purple wire at the A/C pressure cutoff switch.

If I want the Fans running when the A/C clutch is engaged, I can tap the Blk/Yellow wire at the top of the A/C clutch diode.

Or should I tap in between those 2 locations at the red/yellow wire after the A/C pressure cutoff switch?

1) Do I want the fans running all the time the A/C is turned on, or just when the A/C clutch is engaged?

Pros/Cons of each?

Oh, if it matters, truck is a 2001 F150 2WD

Thanks
