AIR HORNS
Does anybody know a good place or website to order a set of Air Horns not the electric ones with a tank, compressor and all the things to go with it, that can go under your hood. I'm getting sick and tired of these jerks cutting in front of me. The factory horn, is just not cutting it. I need something more powerful. Something to blast these idiots out of their seats. Thanks for any help!

Has anyone else installed Loud Air Horns in their Trucks..NOT the musical ones! I mean the real loud ones, the Air Horns that the 18 Wheelers and Ambulances use and how do you like them?

Forget the airhorns go for electric train horns word of caution here these babys are loud,I mean really loud! Louder than any airhorn you'll ever hear. Not sure but they maybe illegal? For legal air horns check out J.C. Whitney catalog or www.jcwhitney.com or check out websites for big trucks like truckers.net you can find links to online stores that sell parts and accesorys for big trucks sure you can find some noise there.
last nite I said truckers.net that was wrong it's www.truck.net that will show you a whole list of links that sell big truck parts or try www.bigrig.com

I have some Hella air horns hooked up to my alarm system. I believe they're around 125-130 decibels. They're really loud and annoying.

The Hella air horn kit comes with wiring and relay. I just used the power output from the alarm's siren. So the siren and air horns are going of at the same time when someone sets off the alarm system.
So using the factory horn trigger will work also. I installed the air horns right next to the factory horn right behind the right side headlight.
It's very easy; just like installing some aftermarket lights.

Thanks for all the good website links, today, again I needed those airhorns badly. Some jerk woman in a very small sports car, while I'm in the fast lane going 75 miles an hour, decides to cut from the right lane to the left lane, within inches of my truck..and I mean inches from my truck, with no signals out of no where. I rode that bitches *** good! I would have liked to blast her out of her seat..way out! with those Air Horns.

F.R.A.,
Installing the Hella's is just like hooking up extra lights. It comes complete (relay & wires). They are loud. Check out www.hellausa.com
I just have to two horn system. www.jcwhitney.com has the Signaltone air horns rated at 133db's, and I've used them in the past and work just as good as Hella.
