The next thing I want to do to my truck is tint the driver's window and front passenger window to match the factory tinted rear side windows and rear glass.

What % tint do I ask for when I take it to the guy that tints windows around here. What shade do I ask for?

I want it to match the factory tinting as close as possible.

EDIT: This is a 2006 Supercab is case that makes any difference in what I should ask for.

 

Factory is right around 18%. Most shops will put 15% or 20% to match it up.

 

I had 20% on my 04 and it matches perfect. Different tint brands read a little bit different though on the meter.
