Question C Watson

I Am Trying To Replace The Left Rear Turn Lamp On My 2001 F150
I Have Removed The Two Bolts Inside The Tailgate Area, But I Can Not Remove The Lense. It Appears To Be Bolted On The Left Side, But I Can Not Find Any Bolt My Truck Does Not Have The Two Large Holes As Noted In A Previous Posting. The Bolts Are Readily Accesable That I Removed. I Have Tried To Pry The Lense Free, But With No Success. Help!!!!!!

What type of light, a flareside or the tall skinny styleside light? I guess it makes no difference, there should only be 2 bolts, I believe it slides in then bolts, so you take the bolts out and kinda slide back straight. It should come out relatively easily. Your owners manual will aid as well.

Im not sure if they changed the system from those o the new style... but on my 04 i unscrewed the 2 screws on the inside and with mine I had to pull pretty dam hard to get the light out... it didnt come out easily.. Make sure when you pull you pull it straight out and not at an angle because otherwise you will break one of the prongs holding it in...

by the way... is your last name Watson? because mine is Watson also if it is...
