black tail lights

Question black tail lights

has anyone replaced the original tail lights with black housing tail lights. Any pictures or thoughts will help.

What does this have to do with 'Care & Detailing'

We don't even know what year truck you have either. Come on, give us something to work with. .

Here is a shot of mine, I hosed them with the VHT Blackout spray made for Taillights, and then had a customer clear them, he laughed his *** off when i asked him to do it. Did the High Mount Stop Light also. I don't know the VHT part number off hand, would have to look it up.

thanks for the picture it looks really good i thing i'm gonna do it. there's a model from a brand named altezza wich makes clear and black housing tail lights but i've seen the euro tail lights everywhere so i want something different.
thnaks a lot.

VHT Niteshades works great but usually leaves a matte finish. A body shop can use a tinted clearcoat on the lights and they will have a glossy finish. Looks better IMO.

I wanted darker tails since I have a black truck, so I went with the HD taillights. Look very good and they're inexpensive.

Night shades, that is the product i used, then cleared over it.
