Post Got a question

I asked this in the Exhaust section but didnt get much of a response. Will adding an after market exhaust void the factory warranty?? Thanks in advance

No, aftermarket parts can only break your warranty if the dealer can prove they are the cause of a problem. Dealerships will sometimes try to tell you different. Reference = "Magnuson Moss Act". It is advantageous to add 50-state CARB legal parts for visual and emmissions testing.

Bomber,

No, you are clear to do so. What happens is that your exhaust is not part of the Ford warranty anymore.

Many here have installed Flowmasters, Gibson, Bassani, etc. with this understanding.
