Okay, I'm trying to figure out the best mods to make to my 2000 F-150 5.4. I've been working on the stereo system and it's coming together great, but as for engine performance, I'm lacking. The only major thing I've had a chance to do is get dual exhaust with Flowmasters put on. Which is great and sounds cool. However, I'm looking for more HP and am trying to figure out the best way to go. I don't know a lot about performance on fuel injected engines. I'm trying to decide whether to go with an Airaid FIPK or start saving up my money and get a supercharger. Then if I go the way of the supercharger, what kind to get? I also read a post about having to make mods to the drivetrain to support the supercharger, is this true or what? I'm just looking for something to give me power for mainly having fun kicking chevy's off the road. I guess I should mention that I have a 4x4 in case that makes any difference. But I'm not after power for hauling or anything like that. I just want the power there when I need it. Strictly street and highway driving, pretty much. Another mod in the future would of course be a super chip, however if I go with the Airaid I can get the superchip twice as fast. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.
