Post Step Bars

Where can I find side bar steps for my '98 f150 4X4? I like the looks of the oval pipe with step area. Also I've seen where the passenger side bar goes all the way back so someone using the 3rd door can step in.

Try Bass Pro Shops (Truck
World). For free catalog
call 1-800-272-3035. They
list 10+ brands from $175
to $400.

Look in the yellow pages under 'truck accessories'. Most of the listings should be able to get what you want.

Westin (what I have) and Smittybilt are the two popular brands. Some of the auto parts store sell them too.

The westins are great bars, also look at what Dee Zee has to offer. Places like Auto Krafters have a great selection. Do a search for their website and you can order a catalog of accessories specifically for the f150. Be sure to get a set that mount to the frame. Some of the cheaper types mount to the body and that puts way too much load on the sheet metal.

I've found that most NAPA stores can order any of the Westin, Smittybilt, DeeZee, and other major national brands. If you can afford them, Putco makes some really sweet stainless steel ones. But considering their toolboxes in SS run $1400, they won't be cheap!
