Post Soft Tonneau - Do these things get stolen?

Just wondering if anyone has had one stolen. Considering that they don't lock down or anything.

Down here in South Florida if it ain't bolted down someone will try to steal it
(they already tried to get my truck twice). I have had no problems and have had the cover for over a year and a half. I suppose you could steal the cover really easy since it snaps but the rails are another matter...need a wrench and plenty of time. Plus all its gonna fit is another F-150 anyway(flareside in my case)...and hopefully someone who cares enuff to customize their truck won't be stealing auto parts ya know!

I've had mine for almost a year, nobody's bothered it. I would think they would be slow to remove (mine has several parts), hence not a tempting target for a thief.

But there's always somebody who will try to steal anything. These lowlifes always find a way to take something so swiftly, it can boggle the mind. A variation on the "but I was gone for only a minute" ordeal. You turn your back, and WHAM! It's gone.

I have a soft tonneau cover and it would be pretty difficult to steel it. The thief could not get it (intact) without an allen wrench the correct size. If your worried about what is stored in the bed. My insurance company stated if the tailgate is locked and the snaps snapped whatever is inside the bed is covered because it is out-of-sight.
