Steve G,
Some trucks have them because the owners have purchased the blue ions bulbs and installed them. Just like you would with the superwhites. I personally have the blue ions and I love them. I ordered mine at http://www.autoaccessory.com. I also have a set of blue ion driving lights that I'll be installing this week.

Just ordered some from the F150online store, I went ahead and took advantage of the no shipping charge. I got the 9007, I'll wait and see how I like these, then I'll get the ones for the fog.

Hey Frog,
Thanks for the info, but after reading that ARS Code, I was wondering... If they are illegal, then why do certain vehicle manufactures install them in there vehicles? I have also noticed that the blue ion lights have become more popular lately. Have you noticed this too?

Frog,
When looking at mine straight on, you see more white than blue, and from the side its more blue. Thanks again for the info!

The 9007 Cool Blues from Sylvania will be out early next year, hopefully by the end of January. I have seen their product in AutoZone and Pep Boys so I expect I should be able to find them there.

I have heard other Cool Blue types work exceptionally well and are completely street legal, which is important becasue I worry about getting any tickets from lights. I have heard of many people getting stopped for that reason.
