Need performance advice...

I currently own a 2005 STX w/ 4.6l v8. Going to be towing close to the rated limit for that truck. I'd like to give myself a little "breathing" room and up the HP through mods. My thoughts are: exhaust system, CAI (airraid? K&N?) and a programmer. Can anyone comment on the best combo, and/or other alternatives short of a MAJOR modification (supercharger, turbo, new engine, etc...)? Also, what HP would you expect from those mods???

Thx

The best mods are a programmer (xcal2), air force 1 or airaid both are great, magnaflow exhaust,e-fans and pullies. The exhaust and intake should help wake up your truck and if thats not enough i would get a programmer that would probably give you the most power and also help with shifts when your towing and if you choose a xcal2 you can ask for towing tunes . Hope this helps.
