54Reg....yep that camera is so handy.
Thunder...Nope and I never have used a parking brake with an automatic, I know you should but never have, besides it wont work now unless I do as others have. Hest up the brake pedal bar and bend it out a little, but no thanks.
Joshman...nothing but stock in the back..so far...but those that know me, know that wont be for to much longer. As soon as I get the hardshell tonneau top in will go lots of subs and amps.

Looking good cableguy!! that system looks very familiar, bet it sounds pretty awesome!! Your parking brake should work fine, those q-forms are designed so the parking brake is fully functional, if not then the install is not correct. great job on the install!!

Thanks CAF150...but...the darn magnets of the 6"ers are pretty big. And I used the spacers supplied so it all lines up..and the darn brake pedal is right next to the speaker grill, push on it and it goes right into the grill...hmmmm.

 

My manual says the parking brake is the brake adjustment. Do you ever? Is your pedal getting low? Go ahead, bend the parking brake lever.

That's what the mechanic at work told me as well. And he also said to use the old fashioned method if I liked. Blast it in reverse and hit the brakes!!!

 

That blast in in reverse and hit the brakes no longer works on the 97 up trucks.

Well wether it works or doesnt, I guess I wont know cause as I said I've never used it. But...is it the same with drums and disc. Cause thats what the rear has are disc.

 

hey not to **** you off cableguy (i wouldn't mind getting a set of q-forms myself) but it doesn't seem like they line up correctly with the grey plastic sill plates???????

My error. Mine is a 97 and the parking brake adjusts the brakes. With the 4 wheel disc brake setup I think it is like the front discs and they will adjust themselves. So, don't go backwards after all.
