intakes actual horses gain

i hate to post so much ,but i'm going to get afew mods and dont want to screw up.I am concerned with gas milage, but would'nt mind a few extra horses just incase. Can you actually get a seat of the pants difference by the install of a air intake and if so ,would it still give the same power with out a after market exhaust?I'm thinking i may trade my 9100 in for the xcal2,go with the troyer fans and maybee an air force intake. Also i thought about getting 1 of my three tunes to be for gas milage.

A well-designed intake kit will give you some extra hp, even with stock exhaust, but it’s probably not going to be enough to be a “seat of the pants gain” although intake & e-fans together will more than likely be noticeable
