Alarm Installation help

I recently installed an alarm on my 2002 F150 xlt. Every thing works except for the remote keyless entryfor the alarm. I have something wired up, but it doesn't work. My factory remote still locks and unlocks though. Does anyone have any suggestions of how to correctly wire the alarm system so the alarm remote keyless entry will work?

the alarm is not activating the lock/unlock wires from the switch.
The alarm provides a ground signal for lock/onlock and your trucks switches also use ground to trigger the locks.
The wires are obtainable in the drvr kick panel area where the wires enter the truck.
look at the switch. using a test light 2 of the wires will trip the locks. Those are the wires. Find them at the kick panel.

Are the unlock and lock wires from the alarm all I should have to connect?

You can use the (-) trigger wires ziggy is referring to, but they are really hard to get to, so much so, that In many F150's, I've actually found it easier to pop off the door panel and connect a 5 wire box inside the door. And pull the smaller quage wires through the boot. My wrist just doesn't bend in three directions at the same time

To each his own though...
