Question Headlight switch

I have a F250, and do not have factory driving lights (yet). I noticed that the headlight switch is the same type that is used if there are factory lights installed. Does anyone know if the switch is live and wired and just waiting for some lights to hooked to it?

Any help would be appreciated.

Jim

Jim,

I'm guessing that you mean that you can pull the switch out a bit while on? There have been posts here and on other Ford sites asking the same question. I believe that the switch is missing the parts to work. I haven't seen any posts stating that someone has used that feature to power their driving lights.

The switch will work. But all the wires,,and fuses, wires to the fuse box,,and the clips in the box that hold the fuse are not there.
