another lame post.
Anyone know the real difference between the FIPK intake the off-road one and the 77 series k&n intake I just want the one with the most power and the one that can handle a little off-roading.Also how well does that black plastic hold up under the hood. Thanks max

i have the fipk2 and i love it, i donlt like the 77 series because it is metal and would soak alot more heat than the plastic one that i have, it handles great offroad no problems yet 30,000 miles, didnt like the fact that it had no heatshield so i made one

I have the FIPK and love it. I need to fabricate a heat shield but it seems to be working fine without it. Just becareful to make sure the air filter is clear from rubbing on anything underneath it or you will rub a hole in it.
