how to install heated seats? not where to buy

I searched the forums over and over again. I found a bunch of places to purchase the 2 elements for each seat. But how do they actually install? I'm thinking the wire runs out the back of the bottom of the seat, but isn't this the area where the seat cover is sealed shut? WIth a zipper or hog rings? I wish I had my truck already so I could take a look.

I just went out to my mustang and the bottom's of the seat back, and the rear of the seat bottom, both have zippers to close and sell the seat cover. This leads me to believe that I could just unzipper it, and stuff the heating pad up in there and make sure it's positioned and not folded. Zip it up, wire it up and badda bing.

Any thoughts? or can some one confirm how the new F150's seal the seats shut?

If you get this figured out maybe I'll do this install on mine. Do you have the two elements? What do they cost? Please post your answer when you get it.

I don't have my truck yet, so I'm not going to order anything until I can look at the trucks seats. I found a slew of sites that sell kits that are two elements, wiring and switch.

But I need to confirm how Ford built there seats. If the leather is just zipped up in the rear, then I will order them and install it. But I don't have the truck yet to look.

Why not just buy the truck with heated seats?
