I know I have asked this before, but I am just trying to get the best thing for my money.

I have found a 77 series K&N intake for $200 for shipping and everything. I have found the FIPK(57-2541) for $242 for shipping and everything. They are both on ebay. Is the FIPK that much better or should I go with the 77. I need help!! What are the differences in the 2? I want the best bang for my buck!!

Also what do you guys think about this one for $100.

Well, from what I know and have heard, I would pass on the one from ebay. Most likely it is a generic kit that will take some extra parts/mod/fabricating to make it work, it just comes with a K&N so they advertice it like that.

Between the two K&N they probably aren't all that different. You could check the K&N site and see which performs better for your truck. Then, whichever is better, I would get that one, the $42 isn't a big enough difference to pick the cheaper one, unless the performace diference is very minimal.

 

this is just a thought and i did not do this cause i didnt think about it tell a buddie said something cheapest and best way to get a intake is to go to local muffler shop and have them bend you a pipe at the correct angles and then drill holes to make it fit where your air filter is. now you have a custome intake with any size tube you want and any filter so if you want air raid go air raid about 25.95 for the filter or K&N not sure on there filters but its gotta be close that just a thought
