Lightbulb Horsepower gain!

I am going to pick up a K&N Fipk Intake, but im looking for a little power to go along with the intake. I already have flows with dual tips.

Looking at: MAF (Mass Airflow Sensors) - Granatelli
larger TB (BBK) or a Tb spacer
underdrive pulleys and a new belt - Troyer
Headers - Gibson, Edelbrock, etc.
Any other suggestions????????

I also plan on getting a superchip later this year i just wanted to get some other things first so i could get the chip tuned for the mods. I would like to 20 to 25 additional HP on top of what the intake makes, or basically a good enough gain to notice.

Also has anyone used any of the Royal Purple line such as Transmission fluid or oil?

Thanks in advance for suggestions

I would go with the SuperChip first, you can always get the new downloads from the computer for mods...the chip, I believe is the most bang for the buck.

Give us a description of your truck. Chip/tuner, air intake, and exhaust are the best bang for the buck in order. Underdrive pulleys and electric fans will be the next powerful combination. The rest of what you have listed will yield very little horsepower per dollar.

My truck is an 01 reg cab flareside 4x2, with the Trition 5.4 and flowmasters. Also I am not sure what gears i have but im guessing 3.55.

So would switching out the gears be a decent power gain? Or any other options i should look into, besides a super charger?

there is always turbo...use the search feature and check out what "Crash" is working on...little less expensive than a supercharger too. I'm thinking about one myself.

Wow, that's a rare truck; a regular cab 5.4. Yes, gears make a huge difference. They are expensive but well worth it. I put 4.10s in my 2000 regular cab 5.4 and loved them.
