i successfully installed an air force one intake with the stainless steel tube on my 03 lightning yesterday. my question is this. the hole in the fender where the rubber boot is for the intake isnt the same shape for the boot that came with the intake. the stock boot was more square... whereas the new one is an oval. has anyone else who installed this notice its like fitting a round peg into a square hole. i tried to place it to get the maximum area covered but there still is some spots not covered by the boot. is this normal?
