I recently purchased the Superlift TruSpeed Sensor for my 1992 f150. The speed sensor is located on the rear axle housing. ('93 models same location.) The speed sensor wire is coded red with pink stripe. The other wire on plug is lt grn/blk. These 2 wires are wound together from the factory: going to the speedometer & the rear ABS module. I installed the unit per instructions and now the rear ABS light comes on. I contacted Superlift and the tech said on his '95 f150 he wired his behind the speedo, and told me to try it there. On the '95's, the speed sensor is behind the speedo. I don't think this will work on mine. I'm wondering if they are calling out the wrong wire. Anybody out there ever install one of these? Need a heads-up!
