MSD DIS-4 install...?
i have just oreded this and my 2 tach adapters, and 2 coils packs, ngk plugs, and MSD 8.5mm wires. it blantley says in the instuctions for the dis4 that platinum plugs are not recomended. but at the same time it talks bout comforming to the engine manufacters recomendations? one or the other plz...? and it says to "tune" the gap on the plugs for best performance. and wut bout all thes switches? i know wut to do with S1:3,4,5,6,7,8; S2:1,2,3,4; S3:4,5,6,7,8. i know to set the max rev limit at max so the ecu takes over that but if i do that wut bout S1:2(retards timing 1000rmp b4 max rev it achieved)? and everything else? god, i want this in my truck already but so many questions...grr. i also wanna know a good mounting location. the wiring is plain cut and dry, but man y everything else?

ok so i got som ekind of good news, lol, i called summit and they said that msd produces such a hot spark that if i was to use platinum or iridium plugs the plating on them would get so hot and flake off. so that cleared that question up. and the guy from summit also told just to run the factory gap so thats 2 down. now with all these switches? please everyone, anyone plz post ur swites settings on here or recomend some for me.
