Question extang tonno.....?

i'm looking for a tonno for my 04 fx4 supercab and could use some input. i had the Extang Classic Platinum (snaps) on my 98 and was happy with it, other than the inconvenience of the snaps. I'd like to get the full tilt of the same type, which should make access to the bed much easier, but i see now they have it in a snapless version as well. i've seen the "ziplock" style that ford has offered in the past, but they always seem to curl up in the corners. anyone have the snapless Extang? if so, do you have this same problem of the corners curling? pros and cons of either type? i'd also consider a LOW profile fiberglass cap (not LEER, too bulky) if anyone has one in mind. thanks!

I have the extang Sabre (I think that is what it is called now) that is snapless and have been very impressed with the quality - no corner curling for the last 2 1/2 years that I've had it.

I have the Extang Tuff Tonneau III and it is the "ziplock" one. No problems with curling, 1 1/2 yrs old. Still looks great...

i'm a little late with this, but i was out of town and offline for the last 3 weeks.

my wife's old sonoma had the extang sabre ( i think) on it for about 5 years before we sold it. it never curled up and we were happy with it the entire time.

I have the Extang Full-Tilt, Snapless model, on my truck and couldn't be more pleased with it. I've had it for about 8 or 9 months now, and no problems at all. Easy to install (took 1/2 an hour), easy to remove the cover, and can be rolled up too!

Check around the web for retailers. Got mine at www.tntserve.com, which was about $30 cheaper than anyone else for this model.

I decided to go with the Extang Full Tilt w/ Snaps. I really like the full tilt feature and I'm sure it will come in handy especially loading and unloading camping gear and firewood. Check it out....
