Has anyone bought and installed any of the auto dimming mirrors on their trucks. I have a 2001 supercrew and was wanting to hear from those have done this before I spent the money on one.

 

Mine came stock but, I sure wouldn't like to live without it.

At first, having never had one in the past, I just thought of it as some little 'play-pretty' that the truck had and thus, I'd use it... well, as time progressed, I've certainly come to depend on it. It's really nice to not have to worry about reaching up there and flipping back and forth. I love mine...

People actually flip their mirrors?? I've never flipped mine, ever. Well, maybe a couple of times to clean it. Our trucks sit high enough that headlights usually don't hit straight through the backglass. Also, the 5% tint usually solves this issue should a jacked up Chevy breathe on my back .

 

I have it on my '01 Expy, and I, too didn't think much of it at first, but now I love it. Unless it is a whole lot of money (more than a couple bills), it is well worth it.
