Hey 356, there are several places to get a MAC intake. You can go to their website which is macperformance.com and I got mine from RPMOutlet.com and got free shipping at the time. Hope that helps.

Oh, I saw where you said you had a FTVB ? What is that and what does it do ?? Thanks

Factory Tech Valve Body. do a search for FTVB and you'll see how all the L guys praise it as one of the best mods out there!
He only had the VB for the 4R100 trannies, but i was one of his "lab rats" for the 4R70W tranny and i love it! they'll be going into production soon, there are a few on ebay right now, but it firms up the shifts, and its progressive too. Light throttle you can just barely feel the shifts, mid throttle a little firmer....WOT holy crap did i just get rear ended at 50 mph? the 1-2 shift is super firm, snaps right into gear, 2-3 quite firm also at WOT. My belt now squeals every gear when i mash it
and its better for your tranny than a chip would be, cuz it doesn't up the line pressure, it replaces the whole vavle body and accumulator springs. definately a top 5 best mods!

Why is it better than just a "shift kit" ?

I can't remember most of it, talked with Greg about most of it over the phone, but its without a doubt the way to go. i'm gonna start a new thread on it, and if anybody has any questions, hopefully he can answer them there
