Question 2000Supercab road noise

Having a noise like blowing on the top of a bottle at 60mph+. Quite loud and intermittent. Seems to appear in a crosswind possibly. Taped all windows and doors but still there. Maybe step bars? Driving me nuts! Any ideas?

I have a whistling noise in my truck at over 40-45 mph. I finally narrowed it down to the glass mount antenna that I have mounted on the top middle of the windshield. If I loosen the screw and tilt it back the whistle goes away.

You don't happen to have a cellular antenna on the front do you?

Thanks DougS, for your reply. No, I have no outside antennas exept for the radio of course. I did remove the step bar but that didn't help. Found out that the noise seems to go away when I crack the rear slider. Must be a window or door seal. Still not sure as like I said the noise is intermittent. Will keep trying. Will post my findings. Thanks again! Gerlad
