How much snow do you guys have up there yet?

 

None at all, been an easy winter

 

Was in Jay a few weeks ago, stopped in Lake George for breakfast and most of the town was closed unfortinutly you guys are to far from me.

 

Yeah, its a ghost town this time of year. Even the McDonald's closed last winter (maybe this one too?).
I was up that way alot for work last year but not this year.

 

Night and day. you can't get through lake george in an hour in the summer. the only thing open now are the bait shops.

Hi AT (may I call you AT?) & welcome! Nice to see a new member, especially here in Rochester.
I'm from Buffalo but have lived here in Webster for about 3 years taking care of my mother who is now bedridden. Eventually I hope to return to Buffalo.
If you're near Webster, maybe we can set up a GTG now that the weather is warming up. Hopefully some of the other guys are close enough & we can have a picnic or go to Seabreeze. I've never been there but for those with kids I hear it's fun.
Well, gotta run. I want to call the ICU & check on my mom - she just came off a ventilator today & is making SLOW progress.

Sorry to hear about your mother. How old is she? Is she sick or is it just her age getting the best of her? Well hope everything goes well.
