My Mom grew up just south of you in Center Moriches. I envy your ability to go to the shore at the drop of a hat but I'd miss the forests and mountains we have here.

Yah 10 minutes from a beach I can just pull my truck onto the sand is nice if I can ever get around to doing it. Center Moriches is a nice area also. Im surrounded by trees and wild life, we live in a nature perserve. I love upstate when ever I go.

Went to high school in B'ville

Speaking of Deer hunting,,

I was camping a couple weeks ago in Old Forge, the deer were everywhere! They were eating out of our hands in the campsite. Accidently left a cooler outside the front door of my camper and was greeted by a huge Black Bear the next morning. When I opened the door it was less than 3 feet away. Unfortunately I didn't get a pic, wasn't thinking camera at the time!
