Any of you guys/gals in Ohio wanna head over to Speeds indoor racing track in Columbus? This place is a blast. Nothing like driving nearly 45 MPH 1 inch off the ground.

Hi everybody, I'm in Mentor. We've got quite the Ford collection going over here. I've got a 2000 XLT lifted, 2002 Lightning, wife's got a 2000 Exploder EB and our daughter just bought a 2002 Exploder XLT.

Cost is $19.50 for non-members per heat which is ~8-10 laps depending on how good of a driver you are and if there aren't any poor drivers racing with you. A second heat will cost you $17.50 after this even if you're not a member.

You can pay $15 up front to become a member then it's $15 per heat from then on out.

It's kind of pricey so it's not something I would do every weekend but fun enough to do a few times a year. Much more of a thrill than most outdoor go-karts.

They do group events, so if we got enough people together, we can get the track to ourselves for a period of time.

 

If you get a group to go ; let me know - I may make the trip up! Place looks like a lot of fun...

I'm from Columbus (Gahanna). I love my truck and so does my dog.

I would like to find out how to set up a signature block with my truck info and picture in it. I need to take some more pictures of my truck first.

I work nights so I'm usually on here when most have gone off to bed. I work 8:00 pm to 8:00 am.
