I wonder if it will be possible to retrofit older vehicles... It certainly would be cool... "Back to the Future"...

I'll bet that is expensive to replace when it goes out! Although, really, you would think that it wouldn't ever go out.

I wonder if Ford will only use 4 threads to hold the lasers in and then deny any issues when the lasers are launched out of the heads. Then take 7 years to overcorrect the problem so the lasers then can't be removed without following a 3 page TSB while having 5 lucky rabbits feet in your back pocket.

It does sound like a cool idea though.
