Lane keeping / cameras failure

Short version. I have been to dealer 5 times. Lane keeping camera problems. They even claimed my windshield accident camera was the problem so they removed it. Rear camera replaced twice front once.
truck grabs a line on one side and pulls you right over the line. Mostly no lines.

It was very hard to get speedometer, lane keeping and road in same view safely. My wife leaned over so she had a hard time lol.

Lanekeeping

Long version camera failed while towing cross country first month of ownership. Lost lane keeping, cruise, emergency braking but fortunately blind spot still worked for trailer. Virginia to Texas and back not working.
dealership claims to have fixed. 2 weeks later on another cross country trip it failed again. This time only an hour in.
brought it back and they wanted to replace the rear camera claiming it was the problem and all cameras were on back order. Month or so camera came in and they replaced it.
month or so later message on dash again. This time replaced front again a month delay waiting on parts.
Now I live in Texas. Rear camera failed with rainbow pattern or it would be dim or black sometimes.
recall came in and they replaced front rear camera waiting on high mount camera.
picked up truck failed on the lot. Gave me a rental and kept claiming my Drive recorder camera being on the windshield was the problem and removed it. 2 days later picked it up and again failure message upon starting truck up. They kept it another day and again it was ready.
I didn't make it home. Brought it back next day and service manager stated they forgot to reset module. Module reset and now no errors on dash but lane keeping is terrible. Only works at dusk or on cloudy days. Might get 1 minute of it working 2 lanes max. Usually 5-120 seconds on one side and then tries to pull the truck over the line..

Lots more but I'm tired.

Sorry to hear about these troubles. I can't help here...

While it's neat they are packing this much tech into vehicles, I'm beginning to wonder if it's turning more into a safety hazard itself. A friend just got into a minor fender bender a few weeks ago when they were focused on why their vehicle was giving them some kind of error.

I'm happy without the technology in my older vehicles. Problem is, they are getting old and tired. Older used vehicle prices are skyrocketing for many reasons, this being one of them.
