No Rear Video Camera option in Settings
No Rear Video Camera option in Settings
Vehicle: 2014 Ford F-150 FX4
I replaced a malfunctioning rear view camera with a genuine Ford part; confirmed with a Ford parts guy that it was the correct camera. Now I have no zoom function though the little (+) is in the upper-left corner of the display; it's just inactive. Also no green, yellow or red highlights in the display though the fixed and center lines are there.
On the touchscreen I went into Settings –> Driver Assist and found that the Rear Video Camera option is missing, though the other three options are still there. I'd never looked before so I don't know if it was ever there but as everything worked before the change I'd guess the setting was there.
Can a layman get in and reprogram that or must I have a Ford shaman pass his hands over the computer at a million bucks an hour? Another option other than forget about it?
Thanks for any help.

Video editing is a rather complicated process, whether you do it on a PC or a phone. I have worked with various programs, and I can say that it is very inconvenient to do it on the phone, and you will face many problems while saving the video. On the other hand, full-fledged video editing on a PC requires serious computing power, and therefore you should use only well-optimized Software like Movavi video editor. I downloaded this software from the official site https://www.movavi.com/videoeditor/ and have been using it for several months now.

Hopefully, your problem is solved. It has been 5 years.
For anyone else who found this thread by surfing the interwebs; try calibrating the camera.
