I know there is a lot of backup camera info on here but I need some advise to point me in the right direction. Two years ago I installed a complete oem backup camera system (with the help from everyone here) on my 12' supercrew when the truck was new. Not one issue past 2 years and 126,000 miles, yesterday I got the blue screen for the first time, stays on about 3 seconds then LCD goes blank. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that short flash blue screen means there is no video signal to it right? I also read that the camera may have gone out, I can trace the video in/out wires for a break or place where they may have rubbed, but how do I go about checking the camera to see if its still good?
