My new 2013 Nav off by 100yds to 1/4 mile

So while driving using the nav for route finding or just on nave screen, we are often off left or right by 100yds -1/4 mile. Some times we are ahead as much as 1/2 mile and or behind as much as a half mile. It will be spot on some times, then as the free way turns it shows me drivign off the road. It will spend the next 30 min recalculating routes and being a general flark up.

Any known cure?
2013 fx4 super crew with nav package.

Wild Guess...Is there a calibration process similar to the compass calibration on older models? The GPS may need something like this. Check your manual. I calibrated the compass in my truck per the manual by driving around the parking lot, IIRC.

Same problem, I pulled the GPS and Nav fuses yesterday in my 2013 FX4 and it seems to be better but haven't done much driving with it. I think I pulled fuses #2 and #9 as well as the master wiring harness to the fuse box under the front right kick panel. I'll update if I notice it being a problem again.

Almost a week since I pulled those fuses, GPS has been dead-on ever since. I would definitely recommend giving it a try.

I'm going to have to give this a try. I noticed mine is off by about 100 yards or so as well.

It's been well over a month now since I did it, and I have had ZERO problems with the Nav/GPS signal ever since.

I just found this thread, my wife has a 13 escape titanium with the same My Ford Touch system. This exact problem happened to her, turns out the APIM was bad and ford replaced it under warranty. The APIM is Accessory Protocol Interface Module. Pulling the fuses may work for a while, but eventually the apim will lose it's mind and do it again until you get it replaced.
