Was wondering if there is a list of the updates made in the $199 map update? The highway has changed were I live and my current map still shows the old highway ramps. If I purchase the new map and the highway hasn't been updated, I feel I will be out the $199 for nothing. I guess I could call the makers of the map, but thought I would ask here first.

As a side note I don't use the POI's at all, so don't really care about any of the updates this would bring.

I purchased it but haven't had time to do the install. It is a four disk set. From the instructions it's pretty lenghtly to do. The listed updates are for the software applications, Navigation maps, Gracenote for the music information (song, title, artist, etc.), POI's, restaurants, ATM's, gas stations, banking. On the website (if I remember right), somewhere is a regional map that you can click on regions and it will show approx. what area roads have been updated. According to the instructions, the software applications take around 50 mins. to install and the truck needs to be running. The nav and gracenote updates take several hours, but the truck can be shut off at certain intervals. I have a post started with what info I have but like I said, I haven't done the install yet. Hope to do it this week..........
