Factory Nav Help Needed

Can anyone with a factory navigation unit help me out with my settings. If you push 3 and 6 at the same time and enter the diagnostic menu, can you tell me what yours says under the config menu for SWC and Speed signal and other lines? I have an 04 F150 Lariat with sub and steering wheel controls. I bought a factory nav unit from an 06 Explorer but the backlighting, speed signal, and steering wheel controls do not work right. I can't find anyone who can program this radio. All of the old numbers listed on here no longer work.

Can anyone tell me if a 2007 F150 and a 2004 F150 are compatible as far as radios go? In other words, would a factory navigation radio from a 2007 work perfectly in an 04, as long as the options are the same, like audiophile and steering wheel controls?

the radios do have to be programmed for the f150. There was a guy in ebay who did this, he did it for my radio. Search in ebay. Mine was out of a ford edge and it needed programming.

You could also try United Radio, they are in NY. They can re-program it for you. I wired in a nav unit to my non-nav 2008 Explorer, and they were extremely helpful. They sent me diagrams of what wires needed to be cut and spliced, and I didn't even buy anything from them!

FYI for anyone interested... Took my radio to AER a Ford Authorized Radio repair shop here in Kansas City. They fixed me up. Turns out I had a dead touchscreen. They replaced the screen and reprogramed the unit to my truck. Now the GPS, illumination, and stearing wheel controls all work perfectly. Couldn't be happier. Also came with a 1 year warranty!!

816-423-8103 ask for Kelvin.
