I have an 2006 OEM Satellite radio, nav., and 6 disc changer. I have bought a new 8P disk for the navigation. I try to load the disc and the unit will not recognize then new disc.

I have taken my truck to the dealership and they are no help. Any help is appreciated.

 

What vehicle? The F150's didnt get factory NAV until 07 are you sure it's an 06 ??
Also, where did you get the disc? Is it a burnt copy or does it have the Ford logos on it?

Do you still have the old disc? If so, will it work when you put it into the unit?

If the old disc works and the new one does not, it could either be a compatibility issue or a bad disc. (While I am not promoting piracy, I know that a burnt copy WILL in fact work.)
