Does anyone know of a decent, inexpensive (hopefully adjustable sensitivity) light sensor out there?

Here's the situation. I always drive with my headlights on, so I don't want the screen to dim during the day, but once it gets dark, I'd like the illumination circuit control to take over.

I know I could throw in a flip switch, but I'd rather do something automatic.
