I have a 07 Mark LT and just purchased a factory nav headunit out of an 06. When the unit powers up it displays an error message saying there is a fault detected that may cause the navigation to not work properly and to call the dealer. I talked to my buddy that is a mechanic at a lincoln dealer and he said he wasnt familiar with the nav units because he hasnt ever worked with any. Anybody have an idea what the issue might be? Does it have to be reprogrammed to my truck? It doesnt have an original nav dvd it is a burned copy could that be the issue? Thanks in advance for any help

 

figured it out, the gps antenna wasn't making a good connection
