I installed a kenwood 9960 in my 01 supercrew with the metra 95-5818 kit. All came out great after i was done I was looking at the sleeve that came with the head unit. Why can't you mount the sleeve in the dash. Bolt it to the sides and use that as your mount? any body try this?? thanks Dan

 

Yes, it can be done. I did that prior to the kit being out with my IVA-W200. It works okay but there are major gaps. Check my pics for details.
