Hey Guys,
I have recorded several cd's into my jukebox HD on my 2010 SCrew but none of the artist or titles appear after recording them. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get the artist/title info to appear on the jukebox info??
PS . The cd's are store bought! Factory Sony Navigation system.

They are probably not in the Gracenote database that's loaded a the factory.

Unfortunately, the only way to update the database is to upgrade the maps through Navteq (about $200).

You'd be much better off ripping the CDs to MP3s, doing the USB2 mod, and putting the MP3s on a flash drive or HDD (formatted FAT32).

 

Yes that is what it is sayning. Are you talking about information that is loaded on to the Nav system from the factory? That might just be the problem, because the cd's recorded/loaded have just come out. Thanks for the reply!

Yep - the GN DB and maps are loaded onto the Nav system at the factory. You can check your version on the Nav screen and then go to Navteq.com and see if there is a more current version.
