I have the navigation system in my 2010 and have a routing question. Below is the scenario.

I program a route (or set someplace as a destination) and then drive and complete the route. Voice guidance comes on and says "route completed, voice guidance has ended" or something like this.

Although the route has completed, the starting icon remains on the screen. The red S with a flag. The only way to remove this icon is to press the destination button, and then select "Cancel Route". I don't understand why "Cancel Route" is even selectable as I am NOT currently "routing". It would seem that this icon would disappear once I arrived at my destination. Can someone tell me if this is just the way the Nav operates or if I'm doing something wrong?

If im not mistaking, there is a feature called "Breadcrumbs". You can find it in your menu options. Go to it and turn it off. I hope this helps.
