Has anyone every installed the Brandmotion DVD RES?

I just got mine today!! I just got done with the installation and I can't seem to get it to turn on?!?

My truck didn't come pre-wired for it so I had to order the Harness as well! After getting the Harness ran and the DVD system installed into the Rail, I for the life of me, can not get this thing to turn on! Theres power to the DVD Unit, but when ever I hit AUX to activate the DVD I just get the display, "no audio input" on the stereo.

Just so you know, I only have the 6disc MP3 NON Audiophile with Siruis. Not sure why this would matter, but I thought it might be useful info.

Anyone got any ideas what I might have missed? The harness is simple plug and play.. couldn't screw that up if I tried!

is there power going to the screen? check with a test light

 

I'm waiting to hear back from Brandmotion on the matter! Theres "Tamper" tap on the back side of it, and should I need to return this I don't want that to be an issue!

As previously stated, there is power to the plug of the unit, but knowing weather or not I have it to the screen would require taking that DVD unit appart!

FWIW, the whole unit wont power on! Hitting the power button is a no go, and per instructions to activate it requires the AUX buttom to be pressed! Only thing I get out of that is to call Sirius to activate my SAT radio!

I'm hoping that maybe my FACTORY stereo doesn't support the DVD unit and I'll just have to wait till my NAV unit arrives on monday!

I do appreciate the response anix11. Should I need to, power to the screen will be a good start.
