I have a AVH-P6000DVD HU. I also have the ipod adapter in there as well, but I just found out that the bluetooth unit hooks up to the same IP BUS cable as the Ipod..

so is there a way to have both plug into the same IP BUS located in the back of the unit like a "Y" harness, or do I need to run one or the other?

This pic from Crutchfield shows an IP Bus in and an out, so I think you could just plug this thing to your deck and the ipod adapter to the bluetooth module.
