iTunes and Sync question
Look in your iTune directory on your hard drive. All your songs should be in folders under the main iTunes folder.
Format the jump drive FAT32 (NTFS won't work). Simply copy them to a jump drive. I put all mine on the root drive. Sync will not play m4P (protected files), so you will need either MP3s or MPAs (a list of all supported formats is on Syncmyride.com).
Use MP3tag or other tag editing tool to make sure all the metadata is filled out (artist, album, track, title, etc.).
Unfortunately I tried but couldn't figure out a way to convert iTunes playlists to Windows Media playlists (which is the format you'll need to use a jump drive). However, MP3Tag allows you to create playlists pretty easily.

Glad to help.
Make sure you play around with the MP3Tag playlist creation - there are quite a few options. Make several different smaller/test ones with different options until you figure out which options Sync wants; then make your big playlists. You'll understand better when you start using it.
