O.E. Backup camera

I have a 2010 XLT supercrew. It has the max towing package and as I pull a 31 ft travel trailer, I am now kicking myself for not getting the backup camera. I was talking to one of my contacts at FCSD, and was told I need... the mirror with monitor (Gentex), camera, tailgate harness and headliner harness. I was told that both harnesses are direct plug in's to the main body harness. My concern, how difficult is it to swap out the headliner harness?
I am nervous about " taking down" the headliner.

Any info would be appreciated.

i think that if you disconnect the battery and wait a few minutes you should be able to safely remove the headliner without any issues.
