So I CAN NOT install a factory Nav system in my 2004 Lariat with audiophile? Is that correct?

 

of course you can i did. You just have to have the radio reprogrammed for you truck. You said audiophile so you need to tell it that you have a sub, and steering wheel controls. i had the gps antenna under the rubber tray and it worked like a charm. Hardest part is getting it reprogrammed. Used to be a fella on the forum that would do this but haven 't seen him in a while. ps most stealerships will NOT reprogram for you.

 

Ok cool. That takes some frustration off my shoulders. I want to know though with the factory navs if they had IPOD hook ups. I know that like on the 2007 lariats they have the plug ontop the dash. Im just curious what year or model NAV unit I will need to have that.

I have an OEM Nav unit in excellent condition with latest version 7p disk and gps antenna for sale out of my 07 Lariat SCrew. I have audiophile and steering wheel control. It is my understanding this unit fits 04-08 models. Mine turns on with blue Ford emblem at startup and sound like it would work in your truck. I am selling for $800.00.
