OEM navi question

quick question here.....is there anything one could do to clear the recently visited addresses in the OEM navigation? (other than select, clear addresses)

Does anyone know definitively if disconnecting the battery would clear this?

Dealership just had my truck for like 3-4 weeks and I just got it back and noticed the in/out mileage on the paperwork (same mileage for in as out) is something like 1100 miles lower than the mileage on the truck. I was going to forget about it assuming they wrote the mileage down wrong (got one digit wrong) but then I noticed today that the address history in my navi was cleared...

I dont know definately, but usually a factory rest is somewhere in the menus. They all have it. If your stereo presets are gone, they pulled the batter leads.

Plus, they definitely took you (er.. your F150) for a ride. A long ride.

FM1 presets were still there, FM2 presets are not (but I dont know for sure if I had any...never use FM2)

Trip odometer thing was reset to 0 when I picked it up but that could have been done by pressing the button (not sure why they would do that though)

also my address book still has addresses in it in the navi.....

hopefully someone can weigh in on the impact of disconnecting the battery as I plan on calling and talking to the service mgr tomorrow.....but if disconnecting the battery did this, and the mileage thing was just a clerical error (writing down 32xxx instead of 33xxx) then I dont wanna sound all paranoid.

I would ask the service manager second. If you happen to be at the service shop, if you also ask the tech FIRST (the name is usually on the paperwork) then ask the manager and compare the two stories. Then you can decide how high to raise your blood pressure.

Disconnecting the battery DOES NOT clear the address book.
